OUR STYLISTS SAY...
Introduced in the 1960s as a folding version of the 649 model, the PO0714 were the first-ever folding glasses. Based on the iconic 649 model and crafted from the same quality acetate and fitted with crystal glass pilot-style lenses, Steve McQueen vaulted this frame to stardom after wearing it in The Thomas Crown Affair. The recognisable Persol silver arrow is displayed on both temples, which also have the Persol logo printed on the temple ends.

Persol was created in the formative years of motorised travel, catering to the pioneers of its time: pilots, drivers and motorcyclists who were travelling at ever-increasing speeds. Persol's frames have always been crafted in its native Italy using the finest metals and acetate for its frames and crystal glass for its lenses. Persol eyewear is instantly recognisable for the signature styling of its Silver Arrow motif. Conveying a dignified flair and Art Deco influence which is a product of the time of its production in the late 1930s, the arrow is now synonymous with the artistic expression Persol prides itself on.
