Until recently, if you wanted prescription lenses in a Ray-Ban frame, you’d have to opt for standard aftermarket lenses that were added to the frame. These would not have the authentic RB etching or Ray-Ban logo. However, since late 2017 Ray-Ban have allowed certain retailers to offer official lenses straight from their Ray-Ban labs in Italy.
The outcome is a pair of prescription eyewear with lenses that look identical to the lenses found in your standard non-prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses. You are also able to get authentic prescription lenses in your everyday glasses, complete with etching and logo.

Lens tints include the classic G-15 (Ray-Ban Green tint), along with various gradients and mirror finishes too, with many also available as polarised versions.
